Before you request deletion
Leave or close active rooms and, if applicable, resolve pending host withdrawal requests. Account deletion does not automatically create a refund for used or unused virtual coins; Google Play refund rights and applicable law still apply.
Request deletion
Open Jhalak Go → Profile → Settings/Menu → Delete Account and submit the request. If you cannot access the app, use the button below to email us from your registered email address. Include your username and write “I request permanent deletion of my Jhalak Go account.”
Request Account DeletionWhat gets deleted or anonymized
After verification, we process deletion requests within 30 days. Your profile and associated personal data are deleted or anonymized where appropriate. This includes your stored posts and uploads, private-chat data and media under our control, live-room membership/history and room messages, subject to technical, safety and legal exceptions. Backups are overwritten within a further 90 days. Copies already saved by another user cannot be deleted from that user’s device.
What may be retained
Purchase receipts, wallet ledgers, host earning and withdrawal records, reports, enforcement evidence and limited security logs may be retained when needed for accounting, chargebacks, fraud prevention, user safety, disputes or legal obligations — financial and purchase records are typically kept for up to 8 years in line with Indian accounting and tax record-keeping requirements, and safety/fraud records for as long as reasonably needed to protect users. They are restricted from ordinary app use.
